Winchester College has submitted its planning application to Winchester City Council for the redevelopment of its Southern Campus.

Should you wish to comment on the proposals, you should write to the City Council quoting reference ‘17/00446/FUL’. The Council also accepts comments via its online Planning web page facility.

Work has begun on the Southern Campus Development project, which will see the transformation of the existing PE Centre in to a state-of-the-art Sports Centre.

The College is very excited that planning permission has been granted for the redevelopment of its Southern Campus. It is an important step that allows us to modernise the school’s outdated 1960s sports facilities and replace the existing unattractive and inefficient buildings with ones of high quality in both architectural and material terms, for the future benefit of both the school and local community.
