Michelle joins Winchester from Charterhouse School, prior to which she worked in libraries across the world. She was the Librarian at Michigan State University Dubai, and the Head Librarian at Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai. She has also worked as a corporate librarian in London and a digital library intern in Costa Rica.

Michelle has a degree in Psychology from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, an MSc in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University in New York, and has earned Chartership through the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Sciences (CILIP).

Away from work, Michelle has a 500-hour yoga teaching diploma and enjoys practising regularly. She also loves going for long treks through the beautiful Surrey and Hampshire countryside with her family. Michelle enjoys international travel, reading, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts. She also occasionally challenges herself to outsized cross-stitching projects.
