This unique and inspiring opportunity to join Winchester College as the Duncan Louis Stewart Fellow in Natural History was established in 2016 in memory of Wykehamist Duncan Stewart, a passionate advocate of natural history, with the aim of promoting an interest in all aspects of natural history throughout the school. The Fellow will join the academic staff of the school and will work with the Biology, Geography, Art and other departments to engender in pupils a deeper knowledge of, and respect for, ecology, the environment and the natural world.
Winchester College seeks to appoint an Anglican priest as Chaplain. The appointment will be made without regard to age, gender or academic subject, and the precise role and responsibilities will be tailored to the strengths of the candidate who offers the most substantial overall contribution to the life of the school. The chaplain will be required to teach a limited timetable of their own academic subject, and to play a full part in the school’s communal, pastoral, liturgical and spiritual life.
