COMMON ROOM STEWARD

A well-organised and friendly person is required to manage the teaching staff Common Room and to assist at College functions. The Steward will be responsible for the serving and clearing away of refreshments, stock ordering and accounting for cash sales; in addition he/she will help set up and serve at formal events. The successful applicant will be smartly presented, ideally with experience in the licensed trade or catering; but training can be provided. 

This post may be taken up either as year-round work or primarily term-time, to suit the applicant's own circumstances. The term-time role would be the same whichever option is preferred; work during the College holidays would be within College Catering, under the direction of the Functions Manager.

Assistant Master in Economics

The College seeks to appoint an Economics graduate to teach Economics at Sixth Form level. The appointment will commence on 1 September 2012. There are two full-time members of the department. Appropriate accommodation will be provided.

Job Description
• The appointee will be capable of teaching Economics to Pre U standard.
• He or she will report to the Head of Economics.
• Participation in the School's cultural and/or sports programme is essential.
• All dons must be involved in tutoring in a boarding House.
