School Nurse

Winchester College is looking for a motivated and friendly nurse to work within the School Medical Centre, approximately 32.5 hours per week, term-time only. Experience in paediatrics, A+E or Primary Care is desirable, but further training can be provided. The successful applicant will have a wide-range of clinical skills and will be able to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff. An ability to work alone, as well as within a close team, is essential.

Assistant Director of Chapel Music

from January 2011 for this historic choral foundation. The Assistant Director of Chapel Music will play the organ at School services and accompany the Chapel Choir; assist the Director of Chapel Music, in particular in the training of the Quiristers; assist in the training of various School choirs; teach music theory; teach the organ; take responsibility for the general administration of Chapel music; teach academic classes which may include music tuition for Oxbridge entrance and for Pre-U and IGCSE examinations. In addition to musical activities the post holder will be expected to participate fully in School life.

The post will be at the level of Junior Fellow. Junior Fellowships are tenable for up to two years. The Junior Fellow scheme is open to current undergraduates in their final year, or to recent graduate students.

Fund-raising Administrator and Directors' Secretary

Winchester College is seeking an experienced, reliable and flexible person with a ‘can do' attitude who can work both independently and within a team for their Winchester College Society offices.

Essential criteria required is a knowledge of financial reporting with excellent organisational ability, be experienced at working for senior management and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience of Raisers Edge software is desirable, however training will be given.

The successful applicant should also be able to communicate at all levels and have an advanced level of competency in MS Office including database management. Ideally, applicants will have experience of the not-for-profit or fundraising sectors.
