Activities

A boy at Winchester has many extra-curricular possibilities with which he can become involved – see the left menu for some of the choices. In addition to these set groups there are opportunities to hear world class speakers and musicians but as these events can only be planned nearer the event itself they are not mentioned here.

All boys are actively encouraged to participate in as many societies and activities as they feel able to manage. Many take on responsibilities within these groups and gain much useful experience in learning how to organise and run them. We try to provide opportunities for boys to excel in whatever endeavour they feel passionate about. In many cases the results of these efforts are outstanding and the whole community benefits.
