The Ramsey Society is a society ostensibly for Sixth Book Economists although all are welcome. It aims to meet twice in Short Half and Common Time and once in Cloister Time. A range of speakers are invited to address boys in the School.

Ramsey Society meetings are lively affairs and hope to stimulate those of "precocious mind.. immensely interested in economic problems", as Keynes described the old Collegeman, Frank Ramsey, after whom the Society has been named. Typically, the speaker addresses the Society for 40 minutes and then takes questions from the floor. This tends to be where the fun starts.
