Short Half 2017

Winchester College

Medical Society

Winchester College Medical Society (WCMS) was established in 2012 to formalise the preparation given to prospective medical applicants at the school. It is open to all year groups, but focuses primarily on helping boys in VI Book through the application process. The society typically meets on two or three occasions per term to discuss a variety of topics related to medicine. Other activities organised by the society include training courses for the BMAT and UKCAT examinations and a medical essay competition.

We rely heavily on members of the medical profession giving up their time to speak to the boys and are always looking for ways to establish new contacts. If you are able to contribute, please contact Dr Andrew Savory aps@wincoll.ac.uk.
