THE BIENNIAL INSPECTION OF WINCHESTER COLLEGE COMBINED CADET FORCE was conducted this year by Inspecting Officer, Major General (Ret’d) Murray Wildman CBE, National Chairman of the Combined Cadet Force Association on Thursday 28 May.
 
It was the Army’s turn to review training and activities. In the morning a parade was held, where a Guard of Honour of 30 cadets from all four sections RN RM Army and RAF, under the command of cadet WO II Sam Wesley RM section, the cadet head of CCF, was inspected by General Wildman, the Headmaster and the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel M D Wallis CCF Rifles. The march past was done to the accompaniment of the College Pipes and drums.

During the afternoon, the General and Headmaster, accompanied by the Commanding Officer undertook a tour of training in the College fields of all stands. The General gave his final address to the assembled cadets in the main concert hall of Music School.
