There are various opportunities available to all boys at the moment. We take boys to the County Championships, club open meetings and help Winchester AC in the Southern Young Athlete League & National Junior League. We also travel to several Inter-School matches. Matches are usually on Saturdays and Sundays, with a few mid-week evening open meetings.

Teams

All boys are welcome to train and compete in the Athletics squad. Competition is optional but encouraged and all boys can take part in open meetings, County Championships and the YAL leagues.

House Competition

The Inter-House Athletics finals take place on two evenings at the end of the summer term. All events are catered for, including relays and tug-o-war. The age groups involved are Jun (1st & 2nd years) and Sen (3rd, 4th & 5th years).

Numbers Involved

The Athletics squad has about 30 regular members. The Inter-House competition usually attracts between 150 and 200 entrants across the range of listed events.
