 Art School Library

The Art School Library has over 2,000 books covering all aspects of the fine and decorative arts, and architecture. It also has art DVDs, magazines, a variety of equipment for film and photography, and objects for still-life drawing, all available to borrow. The stock is included on Heritage, our on-line library catalogue, which can be consulted from anywhere in the school.

The library also provides access to a suite of on-line databases and e-books, including Bridgeman Education and Oxford Art Online, which incorporates the Grove Dictionary of Art. The library is enhanced with original artwork and provides a place for quiet study or group discussion.

As well as being a useful resource for pupils studying art as a practical subject at IGCSE or Pre-U level, the library is useful for those studying Art History and Division, in particular for the annual Kenneth Clark Prize.

Individuals with a general interest in art are also welcome to use the Art School library, as well as the large collection of art books in the main School library (Moberly Library).
